Who
Sig is the founder. Having done a slew of LBOs, startups and M&A work - and being a dyed-in-wool sceptic and heretic he became totally convinced that the way we run business is wrong, handling workflows manually, aka managing, is really a waste of time. Organisational value-creation deserves a better workflow framework than what was invented thousands of years ago, using technologies like quills, scrolls and shoe leather.
Beyond going for IT as a "more modern" technology, Sig decided to avoid falling into the same trap as all business software vendors fell into: copy the old ways, model an old model, think only efficiency - from typewriter to Word, from ledgers to screen, not quite the leap the new technologies are able to deliver. It should not be about making manual methods faster, it should be about replacing the manual methods.
Simply put, we run organizations the same way the Romans did two thousand years ago, only faster. There's a huge opportunity in changing that situation, that's what our technology can do.
